Attention Weary Quilters!
There’s still time to register for the Cedar Lakes Retreat.
Now that Autumn is here, lots of us are looking forward to getting away from the pressures of gardening and canning, and getting in some quality stitching time before the holiday season puts a whole new set of stresses on our shoulders. This is your chance to get away from it all, and enjoy a long weekend of quiet stitching time with some dedicated needlewomen. We still have room for more people at the Cedar Lakes Retreat Friday, 7th November – Monday, 10th November. There are three or four  hotel rooms that are being held in reserve just for West Virginia Quilters, Inc. That means that we can accommodate up to 12 more people. Since we are using two buildings this year, there will be plenty of room to spread out.

New this year, is the addition of hot water urns in each of our two buildings. WVQI has purchased two electric water units, so bring your favorite tea, coffee, soup, or hot chocolate packets for a little extra down-home comfort. Shirley and I will have Styrofoam coffee cups and plastic spoons available for your convenience.

Hope to see you there.
